‘Create a Critter’, is all about creativity. We’re inviting participants to bring their imaginations to life using a colourful array of fruits and vegetables to ‘Create a Critter’. From kiwi turtles to fruity butterflies and even cauliflower cuckoos, entrants are invited to let their imaginations run wild, combining the tastiest produce to craft their favourite animals.
The competition is completely free to enter and welcomes fruit fanatics and vegetable visionaries of all ages across three categories:
- Pre-school / Primary school
- Ages 12-17
- Over 18
All entries must be no more than 50cm tall, and the base must fall within a 28cm² area.

A football club well-known for being future-focused, Dungannon Swifts F.C., the only Irish Premier League team in Tyrone, is setting a benchmark for sustainability in sport through a partnership with fellow County Tyrone-based business 3T Power, Northern Ireland’s only supplier of 100%, locally-generated renewable electricity for businesses. Whilst increased energy usage and heating demand is a long-standing issue throughout winter, it is a lesser-known fact that wind energy also performs more consistently and powerfully in winter. Closely, due to advancements in technology, there has been an increase in the number of turbines generating electricity, leading to a diversified system across different areas which ensures that if the wind isn’t blowing in one area, it will be in another, minimising the effects on the production of wind power.

Our team enjoyed a brilliant day at the Festival of Business, hosted by Northern Ireland Chamber, at St George’s Market, Belfast, last week. As one of the sponsors of the event, we were delighted to be part of such an innovative gathering of local businesses in Northern Ireland and inspired by the diverse local businesses that expressed interest in making the switch to renewable electricity generated locally.
The 3T Power stand was busy throughout the day, with the “Spin the Turbine” competition proving to be a hit with local business owners and delegates. The competition created plenty of interest and conversation, with fantastic prizes on offer, including goodies from clients like Forest Feast, Corick House Hotel, and Pharmacy Plus.
We were delighted to meet a wide range of business owners from across Northern Ireland about the growing demand for renewable energy solutions.
