3T Power supports Balmoral Show’s ‘Create a Critter’ Horticulture Competition

We’re delighted to be continuing our annual support of the Balmoral Show this year by sponsoring their annual Horticulture Competition, alongside Hillmount Garden Centre. This year’s competition is set to be fresher, more vibrant, and more exciting than ever with a brand new theme.

‘Create a Critter’, is all about creativity. We’re inviting participants to bring their imaginations to life using a colourful array of fruits and vegetables to ‘Create a Critter’. From kiwi turtles to fruity butterflies and even cauliflower cuckoos, entrants are invited to let their imaginations run wild, combining the tastiest produce to craft their favourite animals.

The competition is completely free to enter and welcomes fruit fanatics and vegetable visionaries of all ages across three categories:

  • Pre-school / Primary school
  • Ages 12-17
  • Over 18

All entries must be no more than 50cm tall, and the base must fall within a 28cm² area.

The closing date for this competition is Thursday, 30th April 2026 at 5 pm, and entry forms can be found here.
